SACT is a not-for-profit foundation, registered under the Trust Act. It has an understanding with GBH American Hospital Udaipur that permits the organization to use all the facilities of the hospital, provided the Trust is financially self-sufficient.
The cost of surgery of Scoliosis has two major heads viz. the Hospital cost and the cost of spine implant. While the cost of Hospitalization is currently being subsidized by GBH American Hospital, the cost of implant, tests, scans, medicine, OT charges and other expenses are raised by SACT.

The average expense of Scoliosis correction surgery in a normal hospital costs around 3,50,000 to 4,00,000 Indian Rupees. But if the surgery is routed through SACT, then the average expense of the correction surgery costs approximately 2,00,000 Indian Rupees. This amount covers hospitalization, regardless the length of stay for the youngster which is borne by GBH American Hospital and other chargers such as surgery and implant costs, other medical needs, teaching programs and administration, which are raised by SACT.
